Terms of Service
Last updated: July 23, 2026
The basics
These terms cover your use of Flydar — the site at getflydar.com, the app, and the deal emails. They're an agreement between you and Flydar ("Flydar", "we", "us"), the operator of the service. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
Your subscription itself is sold by Creem, our merchant of record — see Who charges your card below.
What Flydar does
You tell us the trips you'd actually take — where from, where to, how long, roughly when. Flydar watches economy fares on those routes against what they normally cost, and emails you when one drops meaningfully below normal. That's the whole product: you don't check Flydar, Flydar checks in with you.
- Alerts arrive by email. There's no app to install.
- You book directly with the airline or a booking site. Flydar never handles bookings, payments to airlines, seat selection, or your travel documents.
- The plan tracks up to 15 trips at a time.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18 to subscribe.
- Give us a real email address you actually read — it's how the entire product reaches you.
- One account per person. Accounts aren't shareable or transferable.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else got in.
Trial, price, and automatic renewal
Flydar has one plan. Its current price is on the pricing page, and the exact amount is shown to you at checkout before you enter anything. Here is how the money works, in order:
- A card is required to start. You enter payment details at checkout before the free trial begins.
- 14 days free. Flydar starts watching your trips immediately and you pay nothing during the trial.
- Then the plan price, automatically. If you haven't cancelled by the end of day 14, the subscription starts and your card is charged for 12 months at the price you were shown.
- It renews every year. After the first year the subscription renews automatically for another 12 months, and again each year, until you cancel.
- Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing. No charge, no argument.
- Price changes. The current price is always on the pricing page. A change never affects a period you've already paid for — it would apply from your next renewal onward.
- Currency and tax. Your price is shown in US dollars or euros depending on your location, with any applicable tax included or calculated at checkout and always shown to you before you pay. The currency you're charged in is fixed once your trial starts — moving afterward doesn't change it.
Who charges your card
Your subscription is sold by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record. That means Creem is the seller for the transaction: it takes the payment, calculates and remits tax, issues your receipt, and is the name that appears on your card statement. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem's own terms and privacy policy, alongside these terms.
We never see or store your full card number.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time from Settings → Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal. Or email support@getflydar.com and we'll do it for you.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It doesn't undo a year you've already paid for.
- You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your trips stop being watched and the alerts stop.
- Your account and its data stay put until you ask us to delete them — see the Privacy Policy.
Refunds
The 14-day trial is the try-before-you-buy. Once a year has been charged, we don't refund the unused part of it — cancelling stops the next renewal instead.
That doesn't override the law. If you're in the EU or the UK you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract, and nothing here removes it; the free trial is designed to sit inside that window. Consumer rights elsewhere stand too, whatever this section says.
Billing gone wrong — a duplicate charge, a charge you didn't expect, a refund you're entitled to? Email support@getflydar.com. Refunds are processed by Creem as seller of record.
No guarantees on prices
Flydar surfaces and estimates flight deals, but airfare changes constantly and is set by airlines and third parties, not us. We don't guarantee that any price, deal, or "below-normal" estimate is accurate, available, or bookable. Always confirm the final price with the airline or booking site before you buy.
A deal is a judgment about what a route normally costs, not a promise. Fares can rise, sell out, or vanish between our email and your booking screen.
Availability
Flydar is provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, pause, or retire features, and there will occasionally be downtime or maintenance. Email can also be delayed or filtered by your provider. We don't promise that every deal on your routes will be found, or that every alert will reach you.
Your part
Use Flydar like a normal person. Specifically, don't:
- resell, redistribute, or republish Flydar's alerts or deal data;
- scrape, crawl, or automate access to the site, the app, or the API;
- share one account between people, or run multiple accounts to get around the trial or the trip limit;
- reverse engineer, probe, overload, or attack the service, or try to reach data that isn't yours;
- use Flydar for anything illegal.
We can suspend or close an account that does. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first.
Ending things
You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end your access for a breach of these terms or for abuse.
"As is"
This site and service are provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any loss or damages arising from your use of the site, the service, or any deal information — including missed deals, price changes, or booking issues.
Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that can't be limited by law — and if you're a consumer, your mandatory legal rights are unaffected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top always says when. If a change materially affects you — price, renewal, or your rights — we'll email you before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new version.
Which law applies
We don't impose a foreign court on you. If you're a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country you live in applies, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. The purchase transaction is a contract with Creem as seller of record and is additionally covered by Creem's own terms.
